Summary of “the allegory of the cave"

In “The allegory of the cave” by Plato, the author describes that humans can think and live whether with knowledge or not. There are people in this case prisoners enslaved in a cave since their childhood. The prisoners would be mistaken appearance for the reality. Behind the prisoners a radiant flame where people walking holding objects and they see the images reflected in the wall. The prisoners tend to believe that the shadows are real because the echoes seem to be real. One of them was exonerated from the cave. Now he sees, understands, and adapts to the real world. He came back to the cave to tell the others the true but they refused to believe him. This is a story of how hard is to accept the reality.
